Safe Environments: Through Their Eyes (Child Safe Environments) is an accredited training that provides the skills and knowledge to create, strengthen, and maintain child-safe environments. The course focuses on understanding your obligations, recognising potential risks, and responding appropriately to concerns.

You’ll learn how to:
Recognise indicators of abuse and neglect
Respond effectively to disclosures and concerns
Promote safer organisational cultures that put children first
Apply child-focused, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed practice principles
Understand your legal and ethical responsibilities in child-related roles
Delivery modes:
Standard 7 hours (full-day)
Refresher 3 hours (required every 3 years to maintain currency)
Available face-to-face or online (both standard and refresher)
Accredited by the South Australian Department for Human Services (DHS)
